All copyrighted material contained on this site is used under the copyright fair use doctrine. This use is intended for research and educational purposes,
and for commentary and criticism on the material. All audio clips on this website are from my personal collection, and presented here to show the variety
and condition of my unique vinyl records. Only a very small, lower quality, portion of one area of any musical track is used. The use of these soundclips
is necessary to make the point of the website in a way that no other form of media adequately could, and this use does not devalue the source material in
any way. I believe that this fair use rationale is consistent with other use of copyrighted material on the internet and elsewhere. Any copyrighted images

Except where noted, all recordings were made using the exact same signal path and levels; Technics SL1200
Turntable, with an Audio Technica AT 150MLX Cartridge, through a tube phono amp and into an EMU 0404
soundcard (AKM AK4396 converters). The tracks were normalized, and very minor level adjustments made, but were
not digitally processed any further before transferring to wav files. Each song contains a light audio watermark.

Most of my records are in excellent condition, but clips from noisier copies may be included
here in order to present certain pressing variations. Most of the clips were transferred under
identical conditions. However further level adjustments may be necessary for accurate
comparison. This page features more common pressings, and is a work in progress. Each
wav file contains a light audio watermark. Comment and critique is welcomed........ Enjoy!
